Chippenham Community Area celebrates four years of outstanding achievements

Chippenham Community Area has much to be proud of as its achievements over the past four years have been revealed. 

The CCA covers the parishes of Biddestone, Castle Coombe, Chippenham, Chippenham Without, Christian Malford, Grittleton, Hullavington, Kington Langley, Kington St Michael, Langley Burrell, Nettleton, North Wraxall, Seagry, Stanton St Quintin, Sutton Benger and Yatton Keynell. 

It has been aided by almost £450,000 of Area Board funding (levering £2.93 for every £1 invested) since 2013. This has enabled it to support a stunning total of 136 community-led projects over the past four years!

Support has gone to many worthy causes, such as: 

• Chippenham Town FC;
• Chippenham Rotary;
• Biddleston Cricket Club;
• The Rise Trust;
• Sutton Benger Cricket Club;
• Chippenham Youth Theatre;
• Wood Land Youth Cafe;
• Langley Burrell Village Hall;
• and many besides.
