Conservative-run Wiltshire Council wins another national award!
Conservative-run Wiltshire Council has won a national environmental health award, following its work with partners to resolve a complicated domestic situation.
The Council has been awarded a Chartered Institute of Environmental Health award under the Best Innovative Environmental Health Solution category.
Jerry Wickham, cabinet member for public health and public protection said:
I'm delighted our public protection and adult social care teams have been recognised by winning this prestigious award. A lot of time and effort went into resolving the issue in the best way possible for all concerned. This award highlights the excellent work the council do alongside partners for the benefit of our residents.
Working in partnership with Care Choice and Selwood Housing, the Council investigated a long running case involving noise and anti-social behaviour caused by a resident with severe learning difficulties.
