Educated locally at St Augustine's and Trowbridge College with 15 yrs experience in IT support, and 10 yrs experience in pensions and benefits with the Civil Service...

Elected Trowbridge Mayor 2013-14. Involvement with Twinning Associations, and visited and made links with all Trowbridge twinned towns. West Wiltshire District Councillor 2008, served on the Planning Cttee.

Church reader and welcomer. Previous experience with Blair Charity. Previously set up, supported  and ran local football teams. Volunteer and supporter of many other local community groups.

Happily married to Deborah with strong family values. Avid football fan, enjoy sports, films and going to the theatre with my wife.

Born and bred locally with strong, caring Christian values, I have a heart for Trowbridge and want to see the town develop without losing its ‘country feel’. People matter to me, and I am non-judgemental and compassionate by nature with great strength of character - that is why I want the best for the people of Trowbridge.

I want to protect the vulnerable, preserve our countryside, see supported change in our public services like a NHS Primary Care Unit, more local business growth like a major town centre leisure facility, and support development opportunities for young people as seen in the Princes Trust working in Trowbridge. I stand for caring, personal responsibility, encouraging diversity, and respect for everyone regardless of background. I want to encourage an attitude of giving.

I have adopted two rescue cats, Twinkie and Blue, who is blind. My Father worked for Bowyers for 40 yrs and my Mother was a local girl from a hard working family.
